Covid19 update

The Children's Activities Association created comprehensive guidelines for businesses in the children's activities sector. We hope the FAQs below will help with any questions you may have about when we can return and how sessions will be run in a Covid secure environment.

Can we return to our venue based classes?

Many of our classes have now reopened. Please check our Find a class page for the status in your area.

What will my classes look like?

All of the familiar things that you see in our regular classes will still be there, along with your wonderful Class Leader. Classes may be a little smaller and intimate but this won't affect the value of our research led classes and incredible Practitioners.

How will you ensure that equipment is clean and safe to use?

As Gold Standard members of the CAA, we have always maintained the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness. Class Leaders have conducted full Risk Assessments relative to each venue we operate within and taking on additional Covid-19 hygiene training.

How will social distancing work?

Risk Assessments will be reviewed as Government guidelines dictate, be that locally, regionally or nationally. We understand that every parents wants to keep their child safe and will work within government guidance so that we will be able to adhere to social distancing rules.

What will happen in the event of a local lockdown?

National guidelines (as of Oct 2020) for England, Wales & NI don’t currently impeded our classes however in Scotland some classes have already been restricted. Local Authorities may impose additional restrictions beyond the national guidelines and where this is the case your Class Leader will notify you.
