Adam Dickson

After graduating with a Batchelor of Education degree in Technology and Design from Edinburgh University in 2006, my teaching path took me to Merchiston Castle School where I spent many happy years inspiring pupils in the classroom, on the sports field as a rugby coach and as an Academic and House Tutor. In 2013 my wife and I returned to Northern Ireland; this presented me with the opportunity to teach in a variety of schools including Limavady Grammar, Coleraine Grammar and Omagh Academy to name a few. As a father of two young boys I have regularly participated in both Baby Sensory and Toddler Sense classes with a great sense of enjoyment. In 2018 the opportunity of introducing Mini Professors Science classes in the North West was presented to me and it was not a difficult decision to make with STEM subjects being so important in the early stages of a child’s development. It was the ideal career path for me with my experience and passion for teaching helping to inspire a new generation of young and curious minds through fun and practical-based experiments.
