I joined the Baby Sensory team 2 years ago through the Kickstart Government scheme, and it really has been the best decision I've ever made! Prior to assisting in Baby Sensory and Toddler Sense classes I had started a degree in Sociology and Education, as I have always had an interest in this area, particularly special educational needs. Ultimately I decided I needed a break from studying, and was so fortunate to stumble across Baby Sensory - I've never looked back! I've now completed my training to become a Baby Sensory and Toddler Sense class leader and am running my own classes which is such an amazing feeling. I love getting to know the little ones as they grow, making meaningful connections with their families, and being a part of wonderful memories. I'm proud to create a warm and inviting atmosphere in our classes, and to provide fun and enriching activities to help parents and carers bond with their babies, it really is magical.

I'm Karen - the winner of Most Outstanding Activity Leader for the under 5s in the West & Wales region in the What's on National Awards. Before joining the Baby Sensory team I was a Human Resources Manager for an International Property Consultants.
After the birth of my daughter Connie in August 2008 I decided that HR was no longer for me. The time I spent at home with Connie was unlike anything I had experienced and my little bundle of joy changed every day. Connie and I attended our local Baby Sensory class and she loved it from the first session. She thrived in a wonderful environment and learnt key developmental milestones at a rapid rate, reaching all her milestones early.
I loved it so much I gave up my job and bought the Baby Sensory franchise. I have been running the award-winning Baby Sensory and Toddler Sense classes for 14 years and loving every minute of it. I have had the pleasure of seeing 1000's of babies and sharing their very special first year.
