What is a session like?
Your baby loves routine and will therefore love the routine at Baby Sensory. Each class is designed to follow their natural play-rest-play cycle. We start in our sensory area by singing the magical Say Hello to the Sun song where you can enjoy seeing your baby relax or share gorgeous smiles as they are soothed by this beautiful song.
Your baby can then enjoy being captivated by the first part of our wonderful sensory activities before taking a break in our gorgeous exploratory play area. Here your baby can relax or enjoy time to free play alongside you whilst you get the chance to meet other parents and chat away. Your little one might even make some friends too.
After that, we return to the sensory area for more fun through our structured sensory activities before we wave goodbye to a you and your baby who has had so much fun that they are often ready to drift into a peaceful sleep ready for when you get home. This carefully researched routine ensures that your baby feels secure and happy ready to enjoy all the fun and wonder of the class.
Baby Sensory is designed for babies from birth-13 months. Our Award Winning classes are packed with multi-sensory activities backed by scientific research that will stimulate your baby in every way which is great for your baby's development in these precious early stages. Even the activities that seem very simple have all been scientifically tested and proven to enhance development.
Babies have an extraordinary capacity to absorb information during their precious first year and at Baby Sensory we don't waste a single moment! We have instruments, baby signing, massage and exercise, sleep techniques, social playtime, action rhymes and songs. Each session is filled with wonderful sensory experiences for the babies and adults to enjoy! From fibre optic lights shows to glowing bouncy balls, bubbles, bells, rainbows, tickly feathers, puppets, silky scarves and water play; the possibilities for learning are endless! Each activity we do aims to enhance learning and development in some way and you’ll never see the same session twice even if you bring your baby for a whole year!!
